Voice of Quebec Labrador Foundation Webinar 1: IUCN World Conservation Congress

The Quebec Labrador Foundation is pleased to present Season Two of our webinar series Voices of QLF.

Each episode features QLF Alumni, staff, and friends from our home region and around the world who will share their inspiring stories of conservation and stewardship. By sharing their unique chapter of the organization’s compelling story the panelists strengthen the connections linking QLF’s diverse, global constituency.

The first webinar of the Series will take place on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 12:00 PM EDT

How will the world respond to the growing alarms we are receiving on climate disruption, biodiversity loss and public health? As extreme weather, extinction and pandemic rage around us, what are we to do? What is science demanding of political leaders?

Please join our guests, the well-respected, international conservation consultants Sue Stolton and Nigel Dudley of Equilibrium Research. The UK-based team participated in the recent IUCN World Conservation Congress (WCC), September 2021, Marseille, France.  They will share their thoughts and perspectives on the actionable agendas emanating from the WCC and interpret for us trends in conservation articulated by the more than 10,000 professionals attending the Congress (on-site and online).

Our guests will be joined by QLF Senior Vice President Brent Mitchell, who also participated in the WCC.
