This webinar profiles two civic-led initiatives that build critical local capacity in addressing some of Asia’s most pressing challenges. In Southeast Asia, a mangrove conservation and blue carbon program by Indonesia’s Yagasu Foundation trains community conservationists across the region. In China, the “training the trainers program” by the Peking University-Lincoln Institute Center for Urban Development and Land Policy (PLC) trains young scholars and practitioners in conservation theories, tools, and cross-cutting policies.
Please join Founder and CEO of Yagasu, Mr. Bambang Suprayogi, Research Fellow at the Peking University-Lincoln Institute, Jingyi Liu and ILCN’s Regional Representative for Asia, Shenmin Liu to discuss how civic-led capacity building programs are empowering communities and young professionals in Asia.
