Australian Land Conservation Alliance Conference

The Australian Land Conservation Alliance (ALCA) invites you to attend the 2016 National Private Land Conservation Conference.

The National Private Land Conservation Conference provides the forum to hear about the latest innovations, opportunities and successes in private land conservation from conservation leaders, practitioners and supporters. Keynote speakers will provide an inspiring international perspective. Delegates will come from a spectrum of backgrounds that support Private Land Conservation including land trusts, private landholders, indigenous organisations, environmental NGOs, regional NRM bodies, governments, business, finance and the philanthropic sector.

The 2016 Conference grows on the success of the 2014 and 2015 inaugural events and this year we have a full program of speakers to inform and inspire delegates.

The objective of the conference is to grow a national Private Land Conservation collaboration and network so the capacity of the sector in Australia is appropriately informed, supported, financed and recognised.

The conference will be held all day on Thursday 24 Nov followed by a half day on Friday 25 Nov. A conference dinner, with guest speaker on Thursday night will provide the opportunity for delegates to network with colleagues from the sector. Optional pre-conference workshops will also be held for delegates on the afternoon of Wednesday 23 Nov.

ALCA thanks the National Australia Bank, the Norman Wettenhall Foundation, The Gainsdale Group and the Melliodora Fund for generously supporting the 2016 National Private Land Conservation Conference.
