As a follow up to the Fitness Check of the EU Nature Directives, the European Commission, the Committee of the Regions and the Maltese Presidency are jointly hosting a conference on 6 June 2017 on the EU Nature Directives Action Plan.

The objective is to present and discuss with EU Member States and key stakeholders from both the private sector and non-government organisations the new Action Plan, which aims to improve implementation of the Birds and Habitats Directives and their coherence with socio-economic objectives.
