The National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago will partner with ICOMOS Trinidad and Tobago and Citizens for Conservation to provide a diverse and comprehensive conference program which will include presentations from a cross section of Caribbean countries and international speakers.
The focus of the conference (but not exclusively so) is Built Heritage. The conference will include lectures, presentations and discussions along with visits to historical sites and local cultural experiences.
The pressure of urban development, climate change and industrialization is affecting us all and we are daily losing our heritage structures and sites. We hope that this conference will build bridges, establish contacts, unite the Caribbean and Diaspora so that we learn from each other’s experiences and reinforce professional relationships.
Accepting abstracts through February 29, 2016.
