CFN is pleased to announce our 2018 Conservation Finance Boot Camp will be held June 18-22nd at Colorado State University’s Warner College of Natural Resources in partnership with the Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming.

The Boot Camp offers in-depth information on trends and opportunities in public funding, private investment capital, bridge financing and loans, gifts and grants, income from the land, and monetized ecosystem services. There is a strong emphasis on practical, hands-on tools and lessons from relevant case studies. Attendees are highly encouraged to workshop projects from their own work during the course to receive consultation from peers and presenters. The 2018 course will also showcase examples from Colorado, including forest fire mitigation and watershed management, rangeland project financing, and species banking.
